The Senior R&D Scientist will focus on developing and implementing advanced testing and metrology approaches for SNSPD technologies. This involves leading the development of scalable and high-throughput testing strategies, optimizing characterization methodologies, and operating optical and cryogenic measurement setups. The role also includes analyzing complex datasets to guide device design and process improvements, collaborating with various teams to ensure test compatibility, and documenting methodologies and results. To qualify, candidates must have a Master's degree in Physics, Engineering, or a related field, along with at least three years of experience in experimental physics or a related field. Strong hands-on experimental work, experience in testing and characterizing optical or photonic systems, and a solid understanding of measurement science and metrology principles are essential. Additionally, strong data analysis skills, the ability to work autonomously, and fluency in English are required. French language skills are considered a plus. Nice-to-have skills include a PhD or Master's degree in Physics, Engineering, or a closely related field, and a strong hands-on background in optics or photonics experimental work.
