Director, Project Management & Operational Excellence, EMEA

The Director, Project Management & Operational Excellence for EMEA at Johnson Controls International (JCI) will steer the end‑to‑end delivery of the company's regional portfolio. Reporting to senior leadership, the role is responsible for shaping how JCI executes strategy across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, ensuring projects align with the firm's global standards and growth ambitions. JCI is a global leader in building technologies and industrial solutions, serving customers worldwide. On a daily basis the Director will plan, execute and govern all EMEA projects, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and monitor performance against defined KPIs. He or she will coach teams in Lean and Six‑Sigma methods, embed continuous‑improvement practices, and drive initiatives that lift efficiency, quality and cost‑effectiveness. Close partnership with senior leaders will shape project road‑maps and ensure consistent stakeholder alignment throughout the matrix organisation. Performance data will be reported to the EMEA executive board to guide strategic decisions. The position offers a unique platform to influence JCI's strategic direction across the EMEA region and to lead transformational change within a globally recognised industry leader. Candidates need more than a decade of large‑scale project‑management experience, deep knowledge of operational‑excellence frameworks such as Lean or Six‑Sigma, strong stakeholder‑engagement capabilities and fluency in English; German or French and PMP/PRINCE2 certification are considered advantageous.
