EY is looking for a Consultant in Technology Risk for its Geneva office. As part of EY's global professional services network, you will help clients understand and mitigate the risks that arise from modern technologies such as cloud, artificial intelligence, data management and cyber threats. The role involves direct interaction with client staff and senior stakeholders, handling several assignments at once and collaborating with EY teams worldwide. In this position you will take part in the full delivery cycle of multiple engagements. You will assess a client's technology landscape from both technical and business angles, carrying out detailed reviews of IT processes, risks and controls through interviews, desktop analysis and system inspections. The work also includes participation in certification and attestation projects (SOC, ISAE, ISO), system‑implementation assessments covering data migration, design and architecture, and the identification of cybersecurity risks with actionable improvement recommendations. Leveraging data‑analytics tools and process automation, you will help increase audit efficiency and deliver pragmatic insights that boost operational performance and risk management for clients. You will also contribute to the ongoing development of EY's technology‑risk capabilities. The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Applied Economics, Commercial Science, Computer Science or a related discipline, together with 1‑3 years of relevant experience in IT auditing or risk & assurance. Strong project‑management, analytical and reporting abilities, combined with a problem‑solving mindset, are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint is expected, as are solid business‑communication skills in both English and French. EY Switzerland offers a diverse and inclusive workplace with roughly 3,000 colleagues from 64 nationalities. The fast‑paced, multi‑industry, multinational environment encourages continuous learning and leadership development. While not mandatory, German language skills, familiarity with IT frameworks and compliance standards (COBIT, ISO 27001, ITIL) and professional certifications (CGEIT, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, ITIL) are considered advantageous and can accelerate your growth within the firm.
