Director - Cloud, Data & AI (CD&AI) - Generative AI

PwC is seeking a Director for its Cloud, Data & AI practice, focusing on Generative AI. In this senior role you will steer client engagements and coordinate internal PwC teams, acting as a principal advisor as organisations adopt advanced AI technologies. Your daily work will involve guiding clients through AI strategy, running workshops and discussions to surface use‑case ideas, and translating business challenges into tailored AI solutions. You will collect detailed requirements, propose cutting‑edge offerings, and continuously monitor for risks such as data‑privacy concerns, security issues, and model‑performance gaps. Keeping abreast of best practices across technology, data engineering, analytics and consulting will be essential to deliver high‑impact outcomes. The position requires a master’s degree or PhD in artificial intelligence, computer science, physics, mathematics, natural sciences or engineering. You must bring more than ten years of professional experience with AI techniques—including machine learning, deep learning, advanced statistics and modelling—and recent hands‑on work with Generative AI, Agentic AI, cloud‑based GenAI tools and ML engineering. A proven record of leading AI initiatives and delivering measurable results is mandatory, as is a solid network within the AI community. Demonstrated go‑to‑market success in the Swiss market and a deep understanding of local business dynamics are also required. Fluency in English and a readiness to travel across Switzerland and occasionally abroad are essential. Additional strengths that will set you apart include prior consulting exposure and language abilities in German or French.
