The Regulatory Legal Counsel will focus on advising on compliance and legal issues related to financial products. This role involves drafting legal documents for customers, contributing to product and commercial teams to ensure compliance with Swiss legislation, managing regulatory expectations, and handling complex legal matters with tight deadlines. The position requires engaging with local regulators and ensuring that all financial products are compliant and secure. To qualify for this role, candidates must have at least four years of post-qualification experience (PQE) as a lawyer in Switzerland, either in-house or at a private practice. Registration with the Swiss Bar, or being in the process of taking the Bar exam, is essential. Candidates should have a strong background in financial regulations, including banking, AML, and corporate law. Fluency in English and either French or German is required, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Nice-to-have skills include the ability to make confident decisions in ambiguous situations and a proactive approach to managing regulatory expectations.
