Senior Process Engineer Packaging (m/f/d)

As a Senior Process Engineer Packaging at Exyte you will join a project‑focused team that creates and implements packaging processes from the initial idea through to on‑site hand‑over, occasionally travelling to client locations. Your daily work will involve shaping packaging system concepts into detailed specifications, overseeing everything from user‑requirements documents and tendering to design, factory‑acceptance testing, installation and commissioning. You will either lead a work package or support the broader design group, coordinate supplier activities from contract award through qualification steps such as DQ, IQ and OQ, and troubleshoot technical issues in serialization, aggregation and vision equipment. Ensuring adherence to GMP and quality standards while promoting continuous improvement, you will work closely with clients, vendors and internal colleagues throughout each project phase. The position requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in pharmaceutical, process, chemical or mechanical engineering (or a comparable field) and proven experience in plant engineering, process design or pharmaceutical manufacturing. A solid understanding of GMP regulations, familiarity with packaging technologies such as blister, bottle or cartoning lines, and strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities are essential. Fluency in German and good English are also mandatory. Additional advantages include prior work with serialization, track‑and‑trace or vision systems.
