Europe West Pursuit and Commercial Excellence Team Pursuit Strategist - Associate Director

EY’s Europe West Pursuit and Commercial Excellence Team is looking for an Associate Director to act as a Senior Pursuit Strategist. In this capacity you will guide account teams through high‑value, strategic bids that originate in the EW region, stepping in as the lead bid manager and, when needed, directing the overall pursuit approach in the absence of a designated leader. Your daily work will involve shaping campaign narratives that convey a compelling “Why EY” story across all client‑facing artefacts, steering the sequence of readiness workshops, kickoff meetings, touch‑point campaigns, value‑proposition drafts, proposal drafts and oral presentations. You will also run strategy workshops, ensure the quality of every deliverable, maintain the pursuit knowledge base, mentor junior strategists and coordinators, and conduct post‑pursuit reviews to feed continuous improvement. Regular interaction with senior stakeholders, both internal and external, will be required to influence decisions and secure alignment. The role demands proven experience in managing pursuits, a strong background in external marketing communications, and a track record of operating within cross‑border, multicultural settings. Candidates must possess native‑level English, outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, and solid project‑management expertise. Preferred attributes include the capacity to build collaborative relationships across all organisational levels, a confident executive presence that quickly earns credibility, and the ability to work autonomously while guiding others. The position entails frequent travel, long working hours, and offers a competitive remuneration package with flexible‑working options, continuous learning opportunities, and a broad suite of benefits through the MyReward programme.
