IT Director

The IT Director will steer the technology agenda for a Geneva‑based organization, shaping the overall IT vision to support the firm’s business objectives. Reporting to senior leadership, the role encompasses full oversight of the department, including infrastructure, applications, security and the coordination of digital transformation projects. Day‑to‑day duties involve crafting and executing the IT strategy, supervising all operational functions, safeguarding information assets, and managing the department’s budget. The incumbent will monitor performance indicators, prepare executive dashboards, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders. Leadership of the Infrastructure, Systems and Security teams, as well as vendor management, are also central responsibilities. The ideal candidate holds a master’s qualification in IT, engineering or a related discipline and brings a minimum of ten years’ experience running IT systems and large‑scale digital initiatives in an industrial setting. Proven people‑management ability, deep knowledge of infrastructure, applications, security and agile practices, and fluency in both English and French are required; additional language skills are a plus.
