Daily duties involve supervising the release and acceptance workflow, scrutinising production and quality documentation, and guaranteeing that every product reaching the market meets safety and efficacy standards. The role also drives continuous‑improvement programmes, plans and executes site‑specific quality projects, and takes responsibility for audit and inspection outcomes. Close partnership with manufacturing, engineering, regulatory affairs and supply‑chain teams is essential to resolve issues without halting production, and the incumbent will coach operators on release procedures and good distribution practices. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification and possess four to six years of experience in quality, quality‑control or another regulated sector such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, food or aerospace. Prior people‑management experience of at least two years, or a clear readiness to assume a supervisory function, is required. Familiarity with ISO 13485 and global medical‑device regulations (including 21 CFR Part 820 and EU MDR) is mandatory; MDSAP knowledge is advantageous.
