Account Executive - Switzerland

Backbone is a technology firm that is reshaping how real‑estate properties are marketed, offering tools that streamline the creation and distribution of professional visuals for companies throughout the DACH region. The company is looking for an Account Executive (f/d/m) to lead its expansion in Switzerland, reporting directly to the CRO and Co‑Founder and helping real‑estate professionals access its innovative solutions. In this position you will be tasked with building a pipeline of new business, nurturing client relationships, and delivering sales growth. Daily duties include designing and carrying out sales strategies aimed at hitting yearly targets, spotting and securing fresh opportunities within the Swiss real‑estate market, and engaging decision‑makers to forge lasting partnerships. You will also need to master Backbone’s product suite, convey its benefits clearly, and work closely with marketing and product teams to improve the overall client experience, all while operating remotely and staying accountable. The role requires several years of proven B2B sales success, preferably in real‑estate or technology, along with strong consultative selling abilities and a quick grasp of new tech concepts. Candidates must be adaptable, fluent in Swiss German, English and French, and based in either Switzerland or Berlin. Regular travel across Switzerland for client meetings and networking events is expected, and a friendly, approachable demeanor is essential for representing Backbone at industry gatherings. Having existing contacts within Swiss real‑estate firms or prior industry knowledge is not required but would be a significant advantage. The position is open for an immediate start, offering the chance to join a dynamic, remote‑friendly team and play a key role in scaling Backbone’s presence in a pivotal market.
