Senior Consultant - Forensics eDiscovery Services

EY is looking for a Senior Consultant to join its rapidly expanding Forensic Technology & eDiscovery practice, helping to shape the service offering in Zurich while contributing to projects throughout Switzerland and on large cross‑border matters. The team blends technical expertise with investigative work, supporting the firm’s mission to build a better working world. In this role you will be part of engagement teams that analyse massive sets of both unstructured and structured data, reacting to client needs and also taking a proactive stance. You will work closely with fraud investigators, auditors, lawyers and regulators, often in sensitive or adversarial contexts, and you will be expected to devise and refine new methodologies and processes that can be delivered to current and future clients. Supporting the leadership and project manager on day‑to‑day operations, you will also serve as a mentor and example for junior colleagues. The position requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and a minimum of three years of hands‑on eDiscovery or digital investigation experience at a reputable consulting firm. You must have at least three years of practical work with Relativity, Nuix, SQL and comparable eDiscovery platforms, solid understanding of IT infrastructure and security, and a high‑level grasp of at least one programming or scripting language. Strong, assertive project delivery skills, the ability to build networks inside large organisations, and fluency in both English and German are essential; any extra language is considered a plus.
