Account Manager

The organization is a global leader in engine maintenance, repair and overhaul, operating from its headquarters in Zurich and boasting more than nine decades of experience serving a client base that exceeds three hundred customers across the world. The position sits within the account management unit located at Zurich Airport and acts as the chief point of contact between the firm and its Integrated Component Services clientele. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifespan of a client contract, from the initial agreement through to the final phase, coordinating with product, operations, supply, procurement, finance and legal groups. Daily duties include monitoring and improving key operational and financial metrics, guiding budgeting, forecasting, invoicing and payment processes, handling contract modifications, identifying risks, and shaping the overall account plan. Maintaining robust relationships, addressing complaints, managing escalations and reporting performance to internal and external stakeholders are also essential tasks. Candidates must hold a master‑level qualification in business administration, marketing, supply chain, law, engineering or a comparable field, and bring at least five years of experience in sales or account handling within the aerospace sector or a similar industrial setting. A deep understanding of the aviation and MRO market, solid commercial and contractual knowledge, and a good grasp of finance are required
