Senior Clinical Scientist

CSL is reshaping its research and development framework to speed up discovery and deliver greater benefit to patients worldwide. As a Senior Clinical Scientist you will join a flexible team operating from either the King of Prussia, Pennsylvania site or the Glattbrugg office in Switzerland, working on‑site three days each week in a hybrid model. In this position you will assist in shaping individual clinical investigations that align with the overall development strategy for the cardiovascular‑renal portfolio. Your duties will include crafting high‑quality study documents and training resources, ensuring they meet regulatory standards and good clinical practice. You will contribute scientific insight to the design and review of electronic case report forms, statistical analysis plans and tables, figures, and listings. Ongoing responsibilities involve monitoring patient safety, data quality, and trend analysis, reviewing blinded datasets, employing visualization tools, and escalating any medical concerns to the designated monitor. You will also coordinate with external oversight groups such as steering and data monitoring committees and act as the primary liaison for protocol interpretation and training of the execution team. The role requires at least a bachelor’s degree together with five years of experience in biotech, pharma, or a comparable biomedical research setting, or an advanced degree (master’s or PhD) with a minimum of three years in a relevant clinical capacity. Candidates must understand pharmaceutical drug‑development processes, preferably with exposure to biotherapeutics such as therapeutic proteins or monoclonal antibodies, and be comfortable using electronic data capture platforms.
