IFS Finance Consultant

The role of an IFS Finance Consultant involves providing expert consultancy on IFS Cloud ERP implementations, with a particular focus on the Finance module. The main responsibilities include working closely with clients to gather business requirements, map processes, and design effective ERP solutions. This involves configuring and customising IFS Cloud modules to meet specific functional specifications. The consultant will support clients through all phases of implementation, from discovery and design to testing, training, and go-live. Additionally, the role includes acting as a trusted advisor, providing insights and recommendations to optimise business performance, and collaborating with cross-functional project teams to ensure seamless integration between business processes and the ERP system. The consultant will also contribute to internal knowledge sharing and continuously develop expertise in IFS Cloud and industry best practices, as well as support post-implementation reviews and provide ongoing client support. To excel in this role, candidates must have proven experience in implementing or supporting IFS Cloud or similar ERP systems in a consultancy capacity. Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in the Finance module area are essential. Strong business process understanding and the ability to translate requirements into effective ERP configurations are also required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels, are crucial. Fluency in both German and English, both written and spoken, is a must. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail, are also necessary. The role requires a willingness to travel to customer sites as needed and the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
