Process Engineer

A leading provider of engine maintenance, repair and overhaul services, based in Zurich, Switzerland, has been operating for more than nine decades. The company serves a worldwide client base through a network of partners across Europe, the United States, Asia and the Middle East, delivering tailored solutions for aircraft engines, airframes and component sales while emphasizing innovation, quality and environmental stewardship. The Process Engineer will be tasked with turning engine component repair concepts into repeatable, high‑volume manufacturing methods. Core duties include establishing uniform machining procedures for peening, milling, turning and grinding that satisfy OEM and internal quality criteria, continuously refining these workflows with safety, lean and statistical tools, and guiding shop‑floor staff in best‑practice techniques. The role also supports the rollout of new repair lines and the renewal of existing ones, working hand‑in‑hand with operations, tooling, shop and maintenance teams as well as external suppliers. Candidates must have hands‑on experience with NC/CNC production, covering peening, milling, turning and grinding, and should have programmed six‑axis robotic cells on platforms such as ABB or KUKA. Ability to generate CNC programs both with and without CAD/CAM, a solid grounding in aerospace MRO manufacturing, and a track record of applying lean and quality improvement methods are essential. A mechanical engineering degree (BSc or MSc) and fluent English are required; knowledge of German is viewed favorably.
