The role of Financial Analyst Group Finance/Capital Markets - Graduate at Swiss Re involves working within the Group FP&A & Investor Relations team. Swiss Re is a leading global reinsurance company that focuses on creating value, allocating capital, and engaging with investors. The team is central to Swiss Re's financial planning, performance management, and investor communication, supporting strategic decision-making and shaping the company's perception within the investment community. The main day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing financial performance, business drivers, and market developments. This involves contributing to materials and insights used by senior management, the Executive Committee, and the Board of Directors. The role also includes active participation in quarterly and annual results, Investor Day, and other key investor events. Collaboration with colleagues across Finance, Strategy, Treasury, and Business Units is essential for gaining a deep understanding of how a global financial services company is managed, valued, and communicated to investors. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong analytical skills, advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, and excellent written and spoken English are required. German language skills are an advantage. Additionally, candidates should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, international environment. A high level of integrity and professionalism when handling confidential information is also essential. Nice-to-have skills include professional experience in consulting, finance, and/or (re)insurance. The role offers the opportunity to work in a small, high-performing team that fosters an environment of intellectual curiosity, ownership, and continuous learning. The team works closely with Performance Management, Planning, and Group Strategy teams, providing exposure to executive management, business leaders, and the investment community.
