Kanadevia Inova Group Tax Director

Kanadevia Inova is a worldwide leader in waste‑infrastructure innovation, turning discarded material into valuable outputs such as energy, heat, hydrogen and fertilizer. As the Group Tax Director you will steer the company’s global tax function, shaping its strategy, roadmap and risk framework while supporting the CFO, Deputy CFO and senior executives on major tax matters. Your daily work will involve building a scalable, well‑governed tax operating model that spans headquarters, the shared service centre and the broader group. You will manage compliance and reporting across corporate tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing and Pillar Two, oversee material tax positions, audits and controversies, and maintain relationships with tax authorities, auditors and external advisers. The role also requires providing tax leadership on large EPC projects, financing deals, mergers and acquisitions, post‑merger integration and cross‑border restructurings, as well as driving transformation through governance, controls, KPIs, technology, data automation and ERP systems. The position demands a university degree in tax, law, accounting, finance, economics or a related discipline, with a recognised tax or legal qualification being advantageous. Candidates typically bring more than fifteen years of senior international tax experience in a complex multinational setting, proven leadership of a Group Tax function, and deep knowledge of international and Swiss corporate tax, transfer pricing, indirect tax, tax reporting and Pillar Two. Experience with M&A, tax controversy and intricate cross‑border activities is essential, and fluency in English is required; German proficiency is a strong plus. Preferred backgrounds include engineering, construction, manufacturing, energy or other project‑driven environments.
