Senior Platform Engineer

The Senior Platform Engineer will be responsible for shaping and maintaining robust cloud landscapes for a variety of customers. Core duties include architecting secure, scalable and cost‑effective environments on GCP and AWS, automating provisioning with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation or Deployment Manager, and constructing CI/CD pipelines that speed up releases. The role also covers implementing cloud‑security controls like IAM, Identity‑Aware Proxy and firewall policies, handling networking, compute, storage and database services, and enhancing system reliability through monitoring, logging and alerting. Interaction with both client stakeholders and internal teams is essential to deliver bespoke cloud solutions. Candidates must bring extensive hands‑on experience in cloud engineering, a deep grasp of networking, identity management, compute and storage services, and proven ability to work with Infrastructure as Code, Terraform being the preferred option. Experience with Kubernetes and container platforms, as well as strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Go or Bash, are required.
