Director of Strategic Partnerships

Simprints is a nonprofit technology organization that builds biometric tools to improve data quality for health, aid and finance programs, helping governments and NGOs deliver services more accurately. The Director of Strategic Partnerships will head the team that turns relationships with ministries, multilaterals and funders into funded projects that close data gaps and boost verified coverage. In this role you will manage the full partnership cycle, from shaping solutions and pricing to leading proposals, negotiations and contracts. You will keep the sales pipeline clean, set stage definitions, qualify opportunities rigorously and use data to shorten cycles and raise win rates. You will also define account‑management practices, establish shared KPIs, feed market insights into product roadmaps and commercial models, and mentor a high‑performing team through hiring, playbooks and post‑mortems. The position requires at least ten years of partnership, business‑development or fundraising experience in global health, with a proven record of closing complex, multi‑stakeholder deals and direct work with Ministries of Health and major funders in low‑ and middle‑income countries. Candidates must demonstrate strong commercial discipline, forecasting ability and the skill to turn program evidence into clear value propositions. Experience in monitoring and evaluation is a plus. The role is remote, open to candidates based in Africa or Europe who have deep knowledge of the African stakeholder landscape.
