Account Director

As an Account Director at Diligent, you will help expand the reach of the company’s AI‑driven governance, risk and compliance SaaS platform, which serves millions of users and hundreds of thousands of board members worldwide. The role is an individual‑contributor position focused on growing revenue by deepening existing customer relationships and bringing new organisations onto the Diligent One Platform. Your daily work will involve mastering Diligent’s product suite and strategy, prospecting both new and current accounts within a defined vertical, and applying a solutions‑selling methodology to match customer needs with the platform’s capabilities. You will craft and execute detailed account plans, coordinate internal sales stakeholders, and maintain accurate Salesforce records while delivering forecasts and closing deals. Regular interaction with product and marketing teams will ensure customer feedback informs future enhancements. The position requires at least seven years of proven success in account management and new‑business acquisition, preferably in the GRC sector, along with the ability to influence senior leaders. Fluency in German and English, strong presentation and negotiation skills, and a self‑driven, resilient mindset are essential.
