Finance Data Visualisation Intern

UEFA's Finance division is looking for a recent graduate to fill a six-month internship role focused on data visualization and analytics. The intern will work on transforming data into actionable insights to support decision-making across UEFA's activities. This role involves creating and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, ensuring they are clear and user-friendly for business stakeholders. The intern will also support financial analysis tasks, such as budget tracking and performance monitoring, and collaborate with data engineers and business teams to ensure data quality and consistency. The intern's responsibilities include translating complex data into clear insights and recommendations, contributing to the development of semantic data layers for advanced analytics, and improving UEFA's data models and reporting systems. The role requires a strong interest in finance, data, and analytics, as well as proficiency in data visualization and analysis techniques. The intern will work in Nyon, with the option to work from home up to one day per week. Candidates must have recently completed a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree within the past year and have a solid understanding of data analysis concepts. Proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and semantic layer modeling, is essential. Knowledge of Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms is also required. Experience with financial data or reporting is beneficial but not mandatory. Fluency in English is a must.
