(Senior) Consultant - Technology Strategy & Transformation - Financial Services (80-100%)

EY's Financial Services Office (FSO) Technology Consulting team is looking for a (Senior) Consultant to shape technology strategy and drive transformation for banking, capital markets, wealth, asset‑management and insurance clients. The role sits within a globally connected practice that blends AI & Data, Cyber Security, Technology Strategy, and Finance Platforms to deliver cutting‑edge solutions that help clients modernise their operations. On a daily basis you will translate client business objectives into coherent IT strategies, build live demonstrations for use‑case scenarios and keep abreast of emerging technologies such as cloud services, data analytics, machine learning, AI and process mining. You will evaluate how these trends affect client business models, guide transformation initiatives using both agile and waterfall approaches, and oversee project delivery through resource planning, activity scheduling and quality control. The position also involves supporting cost‑optimisation programmes, contributing to assessment, design and implementation phases, extracting insights from data, and presenting findings clearly to both clients and senior team members while working closely with cross‑functional groups. The employer requires a university degree in Business Information Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or an equivalent qualification. Fluency in both English and French is mandatory, and candidates must have prior experience in technology consulting or a technology delivery role within the financial‑services sector. Strong analytical abilities, a systematic approach to problem‑structuring, and the capacity to convey complex issues to senior stakeholders are essential. Additionally, the role expects solid coding skills and familiarity with prompt‑engineering techniques.
