Solution Architect, Local Government AI

NVIDIA is seeking a Solution Architect focused on AI for local government, joining a company that positions itself as the world’s leading AI provider and works with mission‑driven public sector clients to enhance services, health, safety and overall community well‑being. The role sits at the intersection of business, product and technical teams, acting as a trusted advisor who translates strategic goals into actionable AI‑enabled initiatives. On a daily basis the architect will mentor and enable partners, customers and internal colleagues, helping them grow and succeed. They will help shape and support strategic plans that drive innovation across national, regional and city contexts, while producing engaging assets such as presentations, blog posts and interactive notebooks that tie business objectives to real‑world government needs. Direct collaboration with customers’ technical groups will involve guiding hands‑on field trials, deploying solutions, and advocating for product enhancements that remove obstacles. The position also requires building and showcasing solutions that leverage NVIDIA’s cutting‑edge AI software and hardware. Candidates must hold a master’s degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, engineering, applied statistics, physics or mathematics, or possess equivalent experience. They need at least five years of experience in technical consulting or software development, with a minimum of three years delivering computer‑vision, deep‑learning or generative‑AI solutions. Proficiency in fine‑tuning and deploying vision models, large language models or generative AI, along with solid Python, PyTorch and container skills, is essential. Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, and the capacity to work across engineering, product, sales and marketing teams are also required. Experience that stands out includes prior work with government agencies, AI startups or digital‑twin projects, as well as familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, Slurm, CI/CD pipelines and MLOps for vision, NLP or analytics workloads. Hands‑on use of NVIDIA libraries and GPUs, plus fluency in additional languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Vietnamese, Thai, Bahasa or Arabic, are considered advantageous. NVIDIA offers a flexible work environment, occasional international travel and the chance to collaborate with a global network of colleagues, partners and customers.
