Consultant - Deal Advisory - Valuation & Financial Modelling

KPMG is looking for a Consultant in Deal Advisory, specialising in valuation and financial modelling, to join its Geneva office. As part of a global professional services firm, you will help clients navigate complex transactions and strategic decisions, drawing on the firm’s expertise in business transformation and ESG consulting. In this position you will prepare valuations of companies and intangible assets, conduct financial and market analyses, and assess capital‑market and cost‑of‑capital factors. You will build sophisticated, integrated financial models and contribute to projects such as fairness opinions, M&A pricing studies, accounting‑tax valuations, and arbitration support. The role also involves valuing intricate financial instruments like options, derivatives, structured debt, and collaborating with large multinational and mid‑market firms in an international setting, while working closely with KPMG’s due‑diligence, restructuring, tax, accounting and legal specialists. Candidates must hold a master’s degree focused on finance or accounting and possess solid experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Strong quantitative, analytical and modelling capabilities are essential, together with a firm grasp of traditional valuation techniques such as discounted cash‑flow and multiples. Proficiency in French, English and German, both written and spoken, is required. An entrepreneurial attitude and the ability to prioritise in a demanding environment are also expected. Additional assets include prior corporate‑finance exposure in an international context, knowledge of security‑valuation methods and advanced modelling approaches like Monte‑Carlo or lattice simulations, and any extra language skills.
