(Senior) Consultant - Business Consulting - Finance

The Senior Consultant – Business Consulting – Finance will join the Business Consulting Finance practice, helping clients navigate finance‑function changes and broader business transformations. In this role you will assist with firm‑wide transformation initiatives, moving from strategic design through to practical rollout. Tasks include shaping finance operating models, refining processes and introducing next‑generation digital finance tools. You will apply contemporary project‑management techniques, collaborate with international, cross‑functional teams on global roll‑outs such as demand‑to‑cash or purchase‑to‑pay, and produce benchmark studies to fine‑tune organisational structures and governance. The position also calls for sharing insights through internal methodology improvements, conference presentations and professional articles, while actively contributing to team culture and internal development programmes. Candidates must hold a business‑related degree with top grades and have completed at least one internship or early‑career role in finance, consulting or a corporate setting. A basic grasp of the CFO’s responsibilities is required, together with strong English communication, solid analytical ability and confidence using PowerPoint and Excel. Familiarity with modern collaboration tools such as MURAL or Power BI, a proactive attitude, entrepreneurial drive and readiness to travel are essential. Experience in global business services, financial planning & analysis, reporting, cost accounting or performance management is advantageous, as are additional language skills.
