Program Director

WPEN-FM, 97.5 Philadelphia's sports station, is seeking a Program Director to lead all on-air activities. The role focuses on talent development, digital sales, digital content, and revenue growth. The PD will work closely with various teams, including Market Manager, Sales Managers, and Engineering, to drive the station's success in America's most passionate sports market. The main responsibilities include overseeing on-air elements, developing talent, and managing digital content. The PD must be strategic, analytical, and creative, with a strong focus on revenue growth. The role requires a deep understanding of audience measurement and best practices in the industry. The ideal candidate has at least three years of experience as a PD or APD/MD, proficiency with Adobe Audition, Nielsen software, and all social media platforms. Experience in sports talk format, dealing with professional sports franchises, and talent coaching is essential. Knowledge of administrative duties, including budget management and company policy, is also required.
