Process Engineer Assembly & Logistics (m/f/d) (80-100%)

The position of Process Engineer – Assembly & Logistics at the company’s Baden location involves shaping the entire assembly and material‑handling workflow, aiming for punctual deliveries and superior quality while steadily cutting waste and cycle time. The engineer will work hand‑in‑hand with production, quality and supply‑chain groups to create standardized work instructions, introduce lean techniques and steer continuous improvement through KPI tracking and root‑cause investigations. Day‑to‑day duties include planning and fine‑tuning the end‑to‑end assembly line, supervising its operation, and monitoring performance metrics to spot and eliminate inefficiencies. The role also requires the preparation of clear work documentation, the application of lean and Six‑Sigma tools, and the use of data from ERP/MES platforms such as SAP or Siemens Opcenter to support decision‑making. Candidates must hold a degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and bring at least three years of practical experience in a high‑mix, low‑volume manufacturing environment or aerospace assembly. A solid grasp of Lean and Six‑Sigma principles, as well as competence with ERP/MES systems, is essential, and fluency in both English and German—written and spoken—is required. The posting highlights the Baden site as the workplace, but does not specify additional benefits or team characteristics, so those details remain unspecified.
