VP, Commercial Finance and FP&A (Bangkok Based, Relocation Provided)

Agoda, a global travel platform that connects millions of guests with hotels, flights and experiences, is looking for a Vice President of Commercial Finance and FP&A to join its Bangkok office, with relocation support offered. The role sits directly under the CFO and leads both the Financial Planning & Analysis function and the Commercial Finance group, helping shape the company’s financial direction. In this capacity you will craft strategies that drive growth, improve efficiency and boost profitability while working closely with business units to understand their cost structures. You will partner with senior executives—including the CFO, COO and CEO—to oversee budgeting, long‑range planning and quarterly forecasts for the division. Responsibilities also cover steering the monthly financial review, preparing board‑level materials, building key performance indicators and dashboards, and providing scenario analysis for major decisions. Interaction with auditors, regulators and risk teams, as well as guiding a high‑performing finance team, forms part of the daily rhythm. The position requires at least twelve years of relevant experience, with a solid background in FP&A and a minimum of eight years in a leadership role. A bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution is mandatory, and an MBA is viewed favorably. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical ability, advanced Excel modeling, and the capacity to create executive‑level presentations. Excellent communication, a collaborative mindset and unwavering ethical standards are essential. Additional assets include experience in e‑commerce or technology finance, familiarity with planning systems such as Fantastic, OneStream, Hyperion/HFM, Essbase or Tableau, and a willingness to handle both routine and ad‑hoc requests from senior leadership and the parent company, Booking Holdings.
