Recruitment for Multiple (Senior) Analyst Positions Across Multiple Regions & Countries: Acute Needs Analysis (External Candidates)

IMPACT Initiatives, founded in 2010 and based in Geneva, is the world’s largest independent provider of data in crisis‑affected settings. Through its REACH, AGORA and PANDA programmes, the organisation supplies humanitarian actors with timely, rigorous evidence to guide decisions. The current call seeks (Senior) Analysts for Acute Needs Analysis to work from a range of country offices across Latin America and the Caribbean, the Middle East and North Africa, and Sub‑Saharan Africa, with a contract of up to six months beginning in mid‑September 2026. Analysts will lead the country‑level production of the Acute Needs Analysis brief, a concise product that summarises risk of loss of life and informs humanitarian prioritisation. Daily tasks include gathering and consolidating secondary data from REACH assessments, UN agencies, NGOs and public sources, assessing data quality, and deciding whether limited primary collection is needed. Using IMPACT’s global analytical guidance and frameworks such as Risk of Excess Mortality, they will conduct structured analysis, document assumptions, and draft the brief with visual elements supplied by GIS and design colleagues. The final output will be reviewed internally, presented to clusters, working groups and donors, and may feed into global key messages. Candidates must have at least three years of relevant experience in a humanitarian context, covering analysis, assessments, monitoring and evaluation or research design, and must have worked directly in the field. The role is open at both analyst and senior analyst levels, depending on the applicant’s experience. Fluency in English is implied; no additional language requirements are listed.
