IFS Manufacturing Consultant

The IFS Manufacturing Consultant will lead and support the rollout of IFS Cloud Manufacturing modules for customers in diverse sectors. Daily tasks include analysing client manufacturing processes, gathering requirements through workshops, designing future‑state workflows and configuring the system accordingly. The role also involves advising on best‑practice manufacturing methods, collaborating with solution architects, project managers and technical specialists, and guiding customers through design, testing, training, go‑live and hyper‑care phases. Building trusted relationships and acting as a subject‑matter expert throughout each project are essential, as is staying current with new IFS features and industry trends. Travel to sites in Switzerland and occasional international locations will be required. Candidates must have proven experience with IFS Applications or IFS Cloud in a consulting capacity such as Manufacturing, Functional or Business Consultant. A solid grasp of manufacturing planning, shop‑floor execution, bills of materials, routings, capacity planning and supply‑chain integration is required, as is a track record of delivering ERP implementation, transformation or optimisation projects. The ability to turn complex business needs into practical system designs, strong stakeholder‑management and workshop‑facilitation skills, and fluency in both German and English for client‑facing work are mandatory. Analytical thinking, problem‑solving and a proactive, collaborative attitude are also essential. Additional assets include prior experience in a professional‑services consulting environment, possession of relevant IFS certifications, and a genuine passion for digital transformation that adds business value for clients.
