The role is a Consultant, Qualitative Market Research & Competitive Intelligence, part-time, based in Zürich and Rotkreuz, Switzerland. IQVIA™, known as The Human Data Science Company™, specializes in advanced analytics, technology solutions, and clinical research services for the life sciences and healthcare industries. The company aims to enhance healthcare outcomes globally through innovative connections and actionable insights. The main day-to-day responsibilities involve managing multiple client projects, conducting both primary and secondary research, and translating complex market data into clear, actionable insights. The role requires leading qualitative market research and competitive intelligence projects, conducting interviews with healthcare professionals, and synthesizing market and competitor evidence. Additionally, the consultant will prepare high-quality reports, manage project timelines, and collaborate with colleagues across various teams. To qualify, candidates must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree, ideally in life sciences or a related field, and 2–5 years of relevant professional experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, healthcare consulting, market research, or competitive intelligence. Proficiency in business-fluent German and English is required, with conversational French being an asset. Knowledge of the Swiss pharmaceutical market and strong analytical skills are also essential. Nice-to-have skills include a structured and independent work style, combined with a collaborative mindset. The role offers the opportunity to work on high-priority decisions around new and evolving therapies, contributing to successful launches and market strategies. The consultant will have the chance to build trusted relationships with pharmaceutical stakeholders and deepen their expertise in complex specialty markets. The role reports to the Team Lead Qualitative Insights within the Primary Market Research Team of the Swiss Analytics & Advisory Services Team. The location offers a dynamic environment with exposure to both qualitative market research and competitive intelligence, providing a broad perspective on the industry.
