Senior Lead - Art Director (Brand Assets – Athlete & Editorial)

On is seeking a Senior Lead - Art Director to drive the company's visual identity through athlete storytelling and commercial editorial imagery. As part of the Brand Assets team, this role involves creating and defining imagery that showcases the brand's performance and lifestyle aspects. The successful candidate will lead high-impact projects, guiding visual direction across various formats to produce distinctive and elevated outputs. The main responsibilities of this role include leading art direction across athlete storytelling and commercial editorial projects, translating strategy into clear visual outputs, and establishing visual and casting standards. The Senior Lead - Art Director will own projects from concept to final delivery, partnering with production and external creatives to deliver high-quality work. They will also contribute to the evolution of On's identity through bold and thoughtful image-making. To be considered for this role, candidates must have at least 8 years of experience in art direction within a global brand or agency, a strong portfolio spanning sport, lifestyle, fashion, and culture, and confidence in leading shoots from start to finish. They must also be fluent in English, have deep knowledge of digital storytelling and ecommerce content, and be comfortable working across various formats. The ideal candidate will be part of the Brand Assets team within the Brand Voice and Creative Studio, where they will focus on athlete storytelling and commercial editorial image-making. The team's mission is to power On's visual identity by creating and elevating imagery that moves the brand forward, and the Senior Lead - Art Director will play a key role in achieving this goal.
