Dazu gehören auch die Verantwortung für die Forschungseinrichtungen, die Koordination zwischen den Forschenden und der Leitung des Ausbildungs- und Versuchsbetriebs des Strickhof, sowie das Controlling des Budgets und die Budgetplanung. Der idealen Kandidat hat einen Hochschulabschluss in Agrar- oder Veterinärwissenschaften und begeistert sich für wissenschaftliches Arbeiten in einem internationalen und interdisziplinären Umfeld. Vertrautheit mit der landwirtschaftlichen Forschung und Praxis, sowie mit dem Umgang mit landwirtschaftlichen Nutztieren, sind erforderlich.
