The company seeks a full‑time Cook for its production kitchen in Dübendorf, with a start date in November 2026. The daily work revolves around large‑scale food production. You will follow and execute recipes, prepare fillings, sauces and other components, and weigh and portion ingredients precisely. Operating and troubleshooting production machinery after training is part of the role, as is documenting batch sizes and food‑safety checks. Close collaboration with the Head Chef and Production Manager will ensure the production plan runs smoothly, while you also help develop recipes, prepare catering orders, and monitor product quality throughout each run. Compliance with HACCP, hygiene, allergen and traceability standards is mandatory, together with proper cleaning, equipment care, stock handling, waste reduction and maintaining an organized work area. The position requires independent ownership of tasks, active teamwork, participation in ongoing training and contribution of ideas for process improvement. To be considered, candidates must have at least two years of professional kitchen experience, preferably with exposure to a production‑style environment. A completed culinary apprenticeship or comparable kitchen training is required, along with a solid grasp of recipes and consistent execution. Comfort with standard kitchen tools and a willingness to learn production‑line machinery are essential. The role demands a precise, organized, quality‑focused approach, a proactive, hands‑on attitude and the ability to work both autonomously and as a strong team player. A good understanding of food hygiene and HACCP principles, plus the capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced, repetitive production setting, are also required. Fluency in English is mandatory; candidates must hold a valid work permit for Switzerland and currently reside in the country. Experience specifically in a production kitchen or food‑manufacturing setting is viewed as an advantage, as is proficiency in German. The position offers a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment where ideas can have a tangible impact. Regular Monday‑to‑Friday hours, no split or late‑night shifts, permanent employment and a competitive salary complete the package, alongside opportunities for growth as the brand expands rapidly. What the role asks for: - Minimum 2+ years professional kitchen experience - Completed culinary apprenticeship or equivalent training - Strong understanding of recipes and consistent execution - Comfortable with kitchen equipment; willing to learn machinery - Precise, organized, quality‑focused work style - Hands‑on, proactive mindset - Ability to work independently and as a team player - Good knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP principles - Comfortable in fast‑paced production environment - English language proficiency - Valid authorization to work in Switzerland - Currently based in Switzerland - Experience in production kitchen or food manufacturing (nice‑to‑have) - German language proficiency (nice‑to‑have)
